Automated Flower Production

As the Consulting Engineering Lead, I transformed manufacturing for Color y Diseño S.A.S. and Capiro S.A. by pinpointing production inefficiencies and risks. Leveraging a blend of technologies, from Python and QT for UI, OpenCV for image recognition, to embedded Microchip microcontrollers for system control, we crafted an intuitive GUI, facilitating bouquet assembly and diverse product configurations. Prioritizing safety, we cut down chemical exposure and standardized production, while the core recognition algorithm ensured precise decision-making. The outcome? Our prototype evolved into a robust industrial machine, drastically boosting efficiency and safety standards.
